We are happy to announce that #mdaUGM2025 is officially happening! Abstracts and travel bursary applications are being accepted now until the July 15, 2025 deadline: https://www.mdanalysis.org/2025/04/13/ugm2025/.

In addition to discussions on scientific applications of MDAnalysis and using and developing open source software and molecular simulation analysis tools, this year's UGM will also highlight ongoing work to enable streaming simulations!

📰 Great news! The abstract and travel bursary application deadline for the MDAnalysis 2025 UGM (Nov  9–11, Arizona State University) has been extended, and registrations will now be considered on a rolling basis.

Thank you for your participation in the 2025 MDAnalysis User Group Meeting (UGM)! We hope you were as inspired as we were by the great talks and workshops given by all the speakers, as well as by the invaluable discussions and conversations that took place over the last few days.

We are now looking forward to hearing feedback about your experience. We will use this information for future UGMs and MDAnalysis events to keep the things that went well and to improve on the things that could have been better. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to fill out the anonymous survey form.

We encourage you to share any #photos you may have taken throughout the UGM (as long as you have permission from folks featured in your photos). We also encourage speakers to deposit their presentation materials on the UGM GitHub repo.
