Hello everyone,

I'm Khushi Dhona, a 2nd-year B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) student.

I’m very interested in contributing to MDAnalysis and preparing for Google Summer of Code 2026.
I have started exploring the documentation and codebase and would like to get involved.

I would appreciate any guidance on:

• beginner-friendly issues or areas where contributions are helpful now,
• advice on setting up the development environment,
• and suggestions on how to best prepare for GSoC with MDAnalysis.
