According to https://www.misp-standard.org/rfc/misp-standard-core.txt and https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-dulaunoy-misp-core-format/history/ the draft expired on 19 August 2022.

Will there be an update?

We could indeed do an update to the IETF. I think there are some minor changes even if the core is quite stable nowadays.
