Random directories

Hi. is there any way to make this either delete directories it creates at the end of the process or customize where it creates them.

i've found a shed load of directories in the root of my C: drive all of which are empty and just creates clutter..

and upon deletingthem all ive found they start to reappear each time i run this script.

Hey!

Thanks for letting me know. That shouldn't be happening—I'll check it out.

A couple of quick questions to figure this out:

What version of the script are you using?
What do these folders look like (names, locations)?
Are you running the script as admin?
Did you change any paths in the script, or is it all default?
Once I know more, I’ll see how to fix it or add an option to clean them up automatically.

the folder it creates is called .pmpn-store in the root of drive c. with 514 other folders created inside but zero files. accordingto the folder properties.

as far as im aware im using the latest version of the script downloaded from here. the only thing i needed to was change the shortcut as it would pop up and say powershell not found as it was searchig my users folder for it.

I need some additional information to better understand what’s happening:

Could you run the following commands in PowerShell and share the output?

echo $env:USERPROFILE
echo $env:APPDATA
echo $env:LOCALAPPDATA
pnpm config get store

This will help check if the script is detecting the correct paths.

What is your Windows username? If it contains non-Latin characters, it might be causing issues with some dependencies.

Could you confirm where pnpm is installed by running this command in PowerShell?

Get-Command pnpm

Do you see any errors when the script runs, or does it complete without warnings?

windows user name is Benjamin.

the script does pop up some red text with things like node not found, installing. and few other messages but it does update better discord.
