PRT and memory usage

Hi All,

I’ve been wondering how memory-intensive PRT is and what might be driving the high RAM usage in my case. We have a big ugly model (DISV, 18 layers, ~5000 ncpl) with about 2,200 particle release pts, and it steadily climbs to around 30–32 GB of RAM by the end of the simulation. Any tips on optimizing this? We have RAM constrains on the cluster nodes :(

if not, I will try some profiling on some of our test models. sounds like a memory leak.

Hi @wpbonelli I replied to the email .. I think you should be able to use that model to do some profiling. I forgot .. I'm using 6.6.2 on macarm atm
