New-IntuneWin32AppRequirementRule -Architecture "x64" creates applications requirement rule with "x64" and "arm64"

I just learned

New-IntuneWin32AppRequirementRule -Architecture "x64"

creates an applications requirement rule for "x64,arm64".

I'm wondering about the "arm64"... honestly I do no have such an arm64 pc and cannot test, but I thought this is a differnt platform and software developed for x64 does not run on arm64... but I could be wrong and they emulate the most...

However, we selected x64 and than it should be x64 only, isn't it?

I believe this arm64 property has just been implemented by Microsoft. So I guess the code isn't set up to handle it correctly. I am also getting some issues because of this. Will need to investigate a bit to see what can be done

Yeah there is a change from MS regarding arm64 support. Would be nice to update the functionality to support that as well.

Maybe applicableArchitectures needs to be replaced with allowedArchitectures to allow for distinct options? Or use a mixture of the 2 in the function to allow e.g. x86, x64arm64, x64, arm64?

applicableArchitectures (windowsArchitecture)
Indicates the Windows architecture(s) this app should be installed on. The app will be treated as not applicable for devices with architectures not matching the selected value. When a non-null value is provided for the allowedArchitectures property, the value of the applicableArchitectures property is set to none. Default value is none. Possible values are: none, x86, x64.

I've implemented these new changes with allowedArchitectures instead in 1.4.5 that will be released shortly.
