depending on how much data is in your persistence file, it may take a truly heroric time to upload all that data into ram on USB speeds. you would proabably be better off with the "p_static_persist" type options, which keep the persistence file on-disk. no wait at startup. I don't know what vantoy is, assuming ventoy, which is not our project. not sure about your audio, could be kernel vs. newer hardware. tends to happen late in a debian's version's lifetime. this is the git repo for mx-docs. Thanks! |

I had MX Linux on 256 gb data traveler (120mb sustained write speed)
Doing restart, after 10-20 minutes it still generated dots in verbose screen... maybe hang on acpi or something. Hard restart and was unable to boot again in persistence mode. Just add progress bar not infinite dots.
It would not be dealbreaker if not for:
When it worked it was snapiest linux experience I had, even considering I have old 3800x ryzen.
I can understand why MX Linux is considered best Live USB distro because of that.
For me to consider MX Linux anything more than evening toy, it need still some work.
Thank You evening and I wish Your project stellar success and motivation. I hope this would not trigger anyone to much. Please forgive me if I was to harsh with words.
