Wow, I was searching for this. Today I hit my 5hr limit and the "--plan pro" showed I was at around 75%, but the "--plan custom" P90 view shows I was at 100% of cost. I don't understand how this works, but Anthropic had gated me, so I guess the custom option is the accurate one for me.

Now how do we get this into our VS Code status bar or similar?

Actually, you can open it in a terminal window, and it updates itself. So now I'd ask if we can have a compact view, with no gaps between bars 😊

So I am finding that running --plan pro, I am getting cut off at around 75-80% of cost or token usage. Running --plan custom I get cut off even earlier, so I don't think custom works for me.
