Templates: Hash ('#') in Variables #622

Description

Describe the bug
I'm using the LibreHardwareMonitor extension, and it generates variables like cpu_core_#1_load for my CPU (Intel Core i5).
It doesn't seem possible to use this as a display in Cottle templates.
Does anyone have a solution?

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Goto 'Plugins'
  2. Click on 'Online'
  3. Press 'Install' on 'ItaiMarom.LibreHardwareMoniktor'
  4. Press 'Configure'
  5. Expand 'Intel Core ...'->'Load' and select 'CPU Core #1_Load'
  6. Close 'Plugin config' dialog
  7. Try do use the variable 'cpu_core_#1_load' in any template like 'CPU#1 {cpu_core_#1_load}'

Additional context
I think the easiest solution is to fix it in the plugin itself.
The recommended fix is the out-of-the-box solution.
