Hello! I noticed the readme says that tailscale's MagicDNS feature is not currently supported. Do you think there's a way it could be supported? Or, do you think it would be really hard because we're running on Android?

I'm not sure the issue at hand is Android. This feature works on Linux with their official binaries, and it works on Android with their app from the play store. This might be a limitation on the module itself and the way it implements tailscale into the device. I'm not really good when it comes to the technicalities so don't 100% believe anything I say but what I think is that you are partly right and there are limitations in how tailscale can be implemented into android's Linux environment.

My guess is that it won't work without tweaking. Tailscale on android can do magic dns because it runs as a system VPN. Tailscale on linux modifies /etc/resolv.conf to inject its dns servers in order to make magic dns work. Android does not use/have a resolv.conf, so if magic dns were to ever be supported here, I suspect we would need a way to translate what tailscale puts in /etc/resolv.conf into whatever the Android equivilant of resolv.conf is. I'm not sure what that equivalent is though, or if we can (or should) modify it at all.

There's a chance it uses props instead. As for which, that I have no idea.
