Adding to that thought , a toggle button in the channel's options to choose if a channel plays shows in order or randomly would make this awesome. Some shows I just want to have in order. Cant wait til we can make our own schedules though, I really hope to see that. |

One scheduling feature I'd really love to see is the ability to create programming blocks on a per-channel basis. Instead of only scheduling a specific show at a specific time, users could define a time window—such as 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM—and assign a pool of shows to that block. The scheduler would then automatically choose from that list, allowing the block to maintain a consistent theme while keeping the lineup fresh and varied.
It would be even better if those programming blocks supported sequential rotation. For example, if I assign ten shows to a two-hour block, the scheduler would play the first two shows on Day A, continue with the next two on Day B, and keep progressing through the list until every show has been featured before looping back to the beginning. This would make channels feel much more like real television programming, where the overall identity stays the same but the content changes from day to day.
Of course, there should still be an option to schedule a specific show at a specific hour for users who want complete control. The rotating block system would simply provide a smarter, more automated alternative for themed programming, reducing repetitive schedules while making channels feel more dynamic and enjoyable to watch over time.
Seriously thank you for this, makes suggesting everyone have a retro tv app so much easier
