Welcome to Verse Ledger, a third-party community application for Cloud-Imperium Games' Star Citizen video game. By accessing or using our services, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service, which are designed to ensure a safe and productive environment for all users.
These terms govern your use of Verse Ledger, including any content, features, and functionality offered on or through our platform. We encourage you to read them carefully, as they outline your rights and responsibilities while using our services. By creating an account or accessing any part of the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

To use our services, you must meet the following criteria:

The User must be at least 13 years of age or older. By using our platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 13, you may only use Verse Ledger under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms of Service.

The User must agree to provide accurate information and only connect accounts that belong to the User. By using our platform, you affirm that all accounts connected to your account are owned by you and that you have the necessary permissions to access them.

The User agrees to use Verse Ledger in compliance with all applicable local, state, national & international laws and regulations. Any use of the platform that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Service is strictly prohibited.

The User may not use Verse Ledger if you have been previously banned from the platform or if any applicable laws in your jurisdiction prohibit you from using our services.
By accessing or using Verse Ledger. you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you do not have permission to use our services.
Account Creation is required to use Verse Ledger. All Accounts are created through Third-Party Authentication with Discord. By creating an account with Verse Ledger through this Authentication, the User affirms that the account used is owned by that User and that they have the necessary permissions to access it.
Account Security is the responsibility of the User. Verse Ledger Login Credentials should be kept confidiential and shared with no one. Iff you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact the Staff in our Discord. The User should be aware that all access to their account is managed by Third-Party Authentication with Discord, and Verse Ledger will be limited in what assistance we can provide.
Account Responsibility falls upon the User. All activities that occure under your account are ultimately upon the User Owner. This includes any actions taken byu others who may have accessed your account, whether or not you authorized them.
Profile Verification is required to use Verse Ledger. Profile Verification is a process using our API to verify your Star Citizen Account. By Verifying your Profile, you affirm that you are the owner of the Star Citizen Account connected to your Verse Ledger Account.
Account Termination may occure at the discretion of Verse Ledger Staff. Verse Ledger reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms of Service. You may also deactivate your account at any time through your account settings.
The User, by creating an account, consents to the collection, use and storage of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to review and understand how your data is handled.
By creating and maintaining an account with Verse Ledger, you agree to comply with these guidelines and take full responsibility for your account activity.
Verse Ledger is designed to assist you in your activities with Star Citizen.
By Accessing Verse Ledger, the User agrees to adhear to the User Conduct laid out within these Terms. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger for any purpose that may be unlawful or promote unlawful activities. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate harmful, abusive, defamatory or obscene content. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate content that is illegal or that violates any third-party rights. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate content that is pornographic or racist in nature. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate content that is hateful, or promotes violence or harm to people. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate content that Verse Ledger deems devisive or otherwise inappropriate. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate content that is spam or otherwise intended to deceive or mislead. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate content that is disruptive to other users or the general public. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate content that is deemed political in nature. The User Conduct prohibits the use of Verse Ledger to upload, share or disseminate content that is in violation of these Terms of Service.
The User is responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with the User Conduct agreed to within these Terms. Verse Ledger may impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the service without notice or liability. Verse Ledger reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.
The User is expected not to abuse the resources of Verse Ledger, including excessive API requests, scraping or any automated methods that can degrade service performance.
When the User creates, uploads, or shares content on Verse Ledger, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and other materials (collectively, "User Content"), the user retains all ownership rights to this content unless otherwise specified. The User is responsible for the User Content that they upload, share, or create, and that the User has the necessary rights and permissions to use and distribute this User Content.
By posting User Content on Verse Ledger, you grant Verse Ledger a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such content in connection with providing and promoting the service.
Verse Ledger reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, review, and remove any User Content at our discretion. Verse Ledger may remove or disable access to any content that violates these terms, our policies, or applicable law. Verse Ledger may also take any action it deems appropriate, including suspending or terminating accounts, without prior notice.
Verse Ledger and its licensors own and retain all rights, title and intrest in and to the service, including all software, text, media and other content available on the platform, excluding User Content and Cloud Imperium Games' Content. The Verse Ledger name, logo, and other trademarks are the property of Verse Ledger. You are not granted any rights or licenses in these trademarks.
Verse Ledger may include links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by Verse Ledger. We do not endorse, or assume any responsibility for any third-party sites, information, materials, products or services. If you access any third-party website, service, or content from Verse Ledger, you do so at your own risk and agree that Verse Ledger will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third-party website, service or content.
Verse Ledger reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to any part of the service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or liability, including but limited to if you violate any of these Terms of Service or any other policies or guidelines set forth by Verse Ledger.
Upon termination of your account:
- Your right to access and use the service will immediately cease.
- Any User Content associated with your account may be deleted, and you will no longer have access to it. We are not obligated to retain any information related to your account, unless required by law.
- Any licenses granted to us in relation to your User Content will continue to exist in perpetuity.
The User has the right to intiate an Account Termination at any time. You can do this by following the instructions within your account settings. Upon termination, the Terms of Service will cease to apply, except for those provisions that are intended to survive termination of an account.
Verse Ledger reserves the right to discontinue the service or any part therof at any time, temporarily or permanetly, with or without notice. You agree that we will not be liable to you or to any third Party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the service.
Verse Ledger is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Verse Ledger, its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indiredt, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwil, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the service, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other users or third parties.
- Any content obtained from the service.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, statute, or otherwise.
Verse Ledger holds no aggregate liability for any and all claims related to the service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, Verse Ledger's liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
While Verse Ledger strives to protect your information and maintain the security of the service, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security measures. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Verse Ledger and its affiliates from responsibility, liability, claims, demands, and damages of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with disputes between you and one or more users or third parties.
The User agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Verse Ledger, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and licensors (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties") from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that the Indemnified Parties may incur as a result of or arising from:
- Your use of the service, including any data or content transmitted or received by you.
- Your violation of these Terms of Service or any applicable laws, regulations or third-party rights.
- Any content you submit, post, or otherwise make available through the service.
- Any activity conducted through your account, whether authorized by you or not.
If any third-party makes a claim against any of the Indemnified Parties related to your actions, content, or information on the service, you agree to fully cooperate at your expense with any requests from the Indemnified Parties regarding the defense of such claims. This includes providing any necessary information, documents, and support as requested by Verse Ledger.
Verse Ledger will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim, action, or proceeding upon becoming aware of it. However, any failure to do so will not relieve you of your indemnification obligations.
Verse Ledger reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate with Verse Ledger in asserting any available defenses. You agree not to settle any matter without the prior written consent of Verse Ledger.
Your obligation to indemnify extends to any actions taken by third parties related to your use of the service, such as access to and use of your account by others.
The indemnification obligations under this section will survive the termination or expiration of the Terms of Service and your use of the service.
The Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms of Service or the service will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in San Antonio, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts. You waive any objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
You and Verse Ledger each waive any right to a trial by jury in any action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms of Service. This waiver is intended to apply to the fullest extent permissible by law.
At Verse Ledger's sole discretion, it may require you to subit any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or your use of the service, including disputes arising from or concerninig the interpretation, violation, invalidity, non-performance, or termination, to final and binding arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the American Arbitration Association applying Texas Law.
If arbitration is elected, the arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator in San Antonio, Texas. The arbitration will be conducted in English and in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. Judgement on the arbitration award may be entered in any court that has jurisdiction. You agree that any claim you may have against Verse Ledger must be resolved individually and not as a plantiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
If any provision of this section is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remainder of the Terms of Service will remain in full force and effect. The uneforcable or invalid provision will be interpreted to best accomplish the objective of the original provision to the fullest extend allowed by law.
You acknowledge and agree that any violation of these Terms of Service may cause Verse Ledger irreparable harm, and therefore Verse Ledger will be entitled to seek extraordinary relief in court, including but not limited to temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and permanent injunctions, without the necessity of posting a bond or other security, in addition to and without prejudice to any other rights or remedies that Verse Ledger may have for a breach of these Terms of Service.
Verse Ledger reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms off Service at any time and for any reason, at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of significant changes, such as by posting a notice on our website, or using other reasonable means.
When we make changes to these Terms of Service we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. It is your responsibility to review these Terms of Service periodically to stay informed of any updates. Continued use of the service after changes to the Terms of Service constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
If we make material changes that affect your rights or obligations under these Terms of Service, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance. Material changes may include, but are not limited to, changes to our dispute resolution procedures, modifications to user content rights, and updates to our liability limitations.
You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review these Terms of Service periodically and to be aware of any modifications. Your continuous access to or use of the service after any modifications to the Terms of Service constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must stop using the service. You may also contact our Staff through Discord to terminate your account if you do not agree with the changes.
All changes to the Terms of Service are effective immediately upon posting and apply to all access to and use of the service thereafter. These Terms of Service constitute a binding agreement between you and Verse Ledger from the date you first use the service, and each time you use the service thereafter.
We may retain previous versions of these Terms of Service for your reference, and these will be accessible through our website.
