Description
I'm not a programmer so I can't go into tons of detail of the technical elements, however I can describe a scenario we mostly likely all use in some form.
There are two insances of radarr and sonarr.
- HD instance for 720p / 1080p content
- 4K instances for 2160p content
Profiles in each instances are the same e.g. 4K but in the HD instance, quality profile is actually for 720p or 1080p and in the 4K instance, it is 2160p. The is an import list created in the 4k instance which syncs all films or series with the selected profile which results in a 4K version of the film or series being downloaded at the same time as the HD version.
In the HD instance, these are seen by Declutarr as orphaned or failed imports (I think) and when it removes it from the HD instance, it deletes the content from everywhere. This has been problematic for torrents on private trackers where you end up with a HnR. No such issue with usenet but the content is deleted which means the HD and 4K versions are gone.
