Semantic versioning for each component

are there any plans to implement semantic versioning for your components?

I am asking because this would lead to easier recognizable container builds, based on those versions.

Hi,

alas, I've currently no intention to implement versioning. That would most certainly require me to invest time in maintaining multiple branches, and given that this is a spare-time project it's not feasible right now, and the best version guesses are commit hashes and/or timestamps.
