RelationshipTypes enum and child objects

We didn't use RelationshipTypes enum while declaring child objects and now we need to know which properties are child objects : )
Any suggestions?

Can you provide more context? "We" refers to a developer (human being) or code? Why does "we" need to know this?

@hurcane 'We' means code : ).
The code needs to know the type of properties because we have a requirement that we show the user which properties have changed (dirty).
While typing this, I realized FieldManager has GetChildren().
I am going to try that and report back.

@hurcane Unfortunately GetChildren() return a generic list. We are tyring to show users the list of dirty properties in the whole object graph.

You want the changed properties UI to work over any arbitrary CSLA object graph? Though the result is an object list, then function only returns values that are IEditableBusinessObject or IEditableCollection.

public List<object> GetChildren()
{
  List<object> result = [];
  foreach (var item in _fieldData)
  if (item != null && (item.Value is IEditableBusinessObject || item.Value is IEditableCollection))
    result.Add(item.Value);
    return result;
}

You should be able to easily parse those returned values and handle the lists vs. the regular objects.

Coincidentally, my youngest daughter is taking AP Computer Science at her high school, and they are getting ready to take a test on the recursion unit. Your dirty properties requirement will be a great example for me to show her that the things she is learning have practical use since this task is a great candidate for a recursive function.
