Setup instructions for Raspberry Pi

Hey, I saw your package looking for an easier way to read my temp probes for a project. Running w/ rpi3b, having a hard time getting your package working.

I'm currently getting an error of "No such file or directory at new MAX31865 (./node_modules/max31865/src/max31865.js:42:23)".

Make sure to enable the SPI device for the pi. The library attempts to read the /dev/spidevN.N file, which is not found for you. Be sure to connect the probe to an SPI pin of the pi.

Fantastic, that resolved that problem! Everything does compile now, I am getting raw RTD value of '0' though, so that will be my next step of debugging.

I've got the Adafruit python library working and reading sensor data:
https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CircuitPython_MAX31865

So I know the sensor is wired up correctly, but no success with this library ->

lowthresh: false,

Figured it out.

The adafruit tutorial instructs you to connect CS to GPIO5, I connected it to GPIO8 instead and it now reads the correct temperature.
