Not sure if this matters but I could bot get any info back from my software controller using just the "omada devices" command after sending the inittial login string. I had to add the target name in the command as well. i.e. omada -t omadasdn devices.

There is a --set-default flag on the target command that lets you skip using the -t option.

Something like omada -t [mysite] target --set-default
