Repeat animations on a single slide?

Your plugin looks very promising.

I wonder whether it allows to repeat a certain group of animations, i.e. to let 4 images reappear again and again?

Hi Josua, I'm not sure it makes sense. Any Appearance item can appear, but there is no built-in disappear animation. Therefore, in a theoretical loop, they would appear, and then just disappear, boom gone. Repeat. That does not seem like a nice loop to me.

Good point. Wouldn't it be a good idea to also be able to let things disappear though?

• Reveal has its own way of making things disappear: together with the slide, which has a transition effect by itself. So I did not include an extra disappear effect there.
• Appearance uses a lot of animations from Animate.css (https://animate.style) where the user can use their classes to let items appear. Adding disappearance/exit classes, and letting Appearance figure out what classes are for which purpose, would be a lot of work.
• The only advantage would be to have a nice disappearance effect, and only in cases where there is a loop or a specific fragment that also disappears.
• An overhaul of the plugin is going to happen anyway, whenever Hakim is moving away from Gulp, I plan to do the same with most plugins. So if I work on it, it will just be a subtle opacity fade-out-effect, where a data-loop=X(ms) on a group of items would be the reading time after the last appearance, and X would be copied from the autoslide timer.

Being able to loop animations is not extremely important to me, it would just have been useful in some situations.
