Typst as a primary language #16

Description

@axelkar

Typst is a wonderful language and really fits for writing papers and static presentations. Do you think it could be used for defining animations as well? Would MathLikeAnim-rs work with declarative descriptions of scenes like in Remotion or Remotion Animated?

This would need deep integration with Typst and it would need to be decided which approach should be taken. E.g.

  • Only declare animations in a Typst DSL, and use Typst for rendering and laying out content inside objects which are animated
  • Re-implement Typst's layout and rendering in MathLikeAnim-rs
