Was glad to see this extension revived. Hopefully, still supported.
Tried it but it just goes to https://www.google.com/httpservice/retry/enablejs?sei=FExHaOfLAovx0PEP-bDdiQ8 which gives instructions to enable Javascript. Mine is already True in about:config

OK. So to be clear, the extension still works with most sites. It is just Google in particular that it doesn't work on. I tried it and indeed Google redirects me to that page. If I had to guess it is the removal of the scripts that is breaking it. But, I tried commenting that out and it still fails. So I think this is not really a "javascript" issue per se, it is an issue with Google's bot abuse logic triggering. I would say... use Duck Duck Go, it already has infinite scroll.

Ok, thanks. I used it years ago primarily for Google... and now Google has reduced results per page. May try Duck Duck Go, but using Nextplease (alt-arrow to page forward) works pretty well (another one from many years ago)

yeah, nextplease is simpler, essentially equivalent to clicking on the link. I remember I looked at it back in the day and copied some of the next-link-finder logic from it. Repagination is more fragile but better experience IMO. But Google... yeah, I don't want to mess around too much and have my main search engine block me.

Interestingly if you do "slideshow" with repagination it works, this suggests it's really the frame injection that's the issue.
