What should the favicon correspond with? Do you mean it should return browser logo? We can generate the initial favicons based on those.

Should this go to the same resource (result) as the regular user agent query? In this case it would simply be a field in the result (favicon: path_to_favicon)).

Hi,

I set up a resource for user agent. It looks like it is very easy to get the favicons from paulirish/browser-logos. I wrote a utility that allows us to convert those into favicon format.

There's one catch, though. The browser name provided in a user agent may not always be the same as the actual browser name. In case of Sleipnir, it appears to be msie.

What if we implemented a separate resource for this? You would have /favicon/{browser name}. What should that exactly return? I could have that return a link to the favicon.

If we want to generalize this, we can implement /logo/{browser name} which would return an object containing links to various size logos (needs to be specified).

Third option, we could just return binary data. I guess that was the original idea?
