Background is black on Compose 1.7.3 and 1.8.0

Describe the bug
In my personal project using Compose 1.8.0, when enabling the window style, the background turns black but not transparent. The title bar's Mica/Acrylic effect works fine.

I also testing on the sample app which is running Compose 1.7.3 and it also only shows a black background no matter which style is selected.

To Reproduce

1. Clone the sample project.
2. Run it.
3. It defaults to a "light" theme but the background is immediately black, making text unreadable.
4. Switching to "dark" makes text readable, but none of the background options change the background, only the title bar.

Expected behavior
Effects should work.

Additional context
It seems like setting the background on the new content pane in the hack function ignores the 0 alpha and sets it to normal black.

I have same problem. Sample app is working like this

All backdrop types except default and tabbed draw border. Also title color do not change color unless I resize window.
