Add option to change port for API

My LibreOffice extension could not connect to the Mendeley API. After investigating, it appeared that I had modified the HTTP server port to 50001 following these instructions:

This resulted in the extension failing to contact Mendeley, issuing the message:
Please run Mendeley Desktop before using the plugin.
Being able to set the connection port without having to rebuild the extension would be nice.

I face the same issue in LibreOffice connecting to Mendeley with port 5001 and 5003. what is the port number you set that worked for you ?
