[Bug]: Performance - High Memory usage causes MetaMask to crash #38883

Describe the bug

I've encountered twice a browser crash while having MM full view and sidepanel opened. I also saw High Memory usage on the tab.

From AI, this seems to be what happened (though I'm not sure where the increase memory consumption is coming from, possibly because having the sidepanel opened increases memory usage from the tab?):

When a Chrome tab exceeds a specific memory limit (e.g., around 2.5GB to 4GB per tab in 64-bit systems, or when the overall system RAM is exhausted), the browser typically displays an "Aw, snap!" error message or becomes unresponsive, leading to a crash of that specific tab or the entire browser.

Steps to reproduce

Unsure on repro steps, it just seems the wallet to consume way more memory
