What makes your requested software better than the above solutions, if available?

• Not applicable

How can DietPi make the installation easier or compatible, than following the install instructions or do APT installation, if available?

• For a proxy to be enabled, the webserver engine has to listen to specific ports. The documentation shows an example for nginx. I personally use lighttpd. I also have made bad experience with trying to configure my webserver by hand, so I am sure that more knowledgeable contributors can come up with the needed scripts.

Can you provide the installation steps that you would suggest DietPi-Software to do?

1. follow installation instructions via github (or pull it from apt-repos. I have heard, that it exists there)
2. configure existing webserver, or install one.

Are you willing to help maintaining the software installation, e.g. in case of needed setup changes due to updates etc.? This is not needed, but could speed up our decision to implement it, as man power is always a topic 😉.

• Well, I am totally inexperienced in bash-coding 😿
• But if there's something that can be done with minimal bash experience, I will volunteer to do so.
