I think this sentence is missing the word "Wait"; the English version of the document is the correct and complete one.

我想这个语句丢失了一个单词"Wait",英文版本的文档才是正确和完整的:
You can also use the Wait parameter of the Receive-Job cmdlet. When you use this parameter, the cmdlet doesn't return the command prompt until the job is completed and all results are available.
