Whenever Disk tier or SKU is changed, all the snapshots (bookmarks) corresponding to the disk are created by the disk resource provider. Thus, you may have recovery points where some of the underlying snapshots don't exist at the end of the disk resource provider.

Once you trigger a failover with a recovery point created before the Tier/SKU change, the failover eventually fails with a `BookmarkNotFound` error. Since pruning of recovery points is a scheduled job, you may see such recovery points on the portal although with time it's deleted.
