# Accessing the VMware Solution by CloudSimple portal from Azure portal

Single sign-on is supported for access to the CloudSimple portal. After you sign in to the Azure portal, you can access the CloudSimple portal without signing in again. The first time you access the CloudSimple portal you're prompted to authorize the [CloudSimple Service Authorization](#consent-to-cloudsimple-service-authorization-application) application. Authorization is a one-time action.

## Access the CloudSimple portal

1. Select **All services**.

2. Search for **CloudSimple Services**.

3. Select the CloudSimple service on which you want to create your Private Cloud.

In the CloudSimple portal, select **Home** on the side menu to display summary information about your Private Clouds. The resources and capacity of your Private Clouds are shown, along with alerts and tasks that require attention. For common tasks, click the named icons at the top of the page.

## Consent to CloudSimple Service Authorization application

Launching the CloudSimple portal from the Azure portal for the first time requires your consent for the CloudSimple Service Authorization application. Select **Accept** to grant requested permissions and access the CloudSimple portal.

To get started with Azure VMware Solution by CloudSimple, create the Azure VMware Solution by CloudSimple service in the Azure portal.

6. Select the resource group for the service. To add a new resource group, click **Create New**.

7. Enter name to identify the service.

8. Enter the CIDR for the service gateway. Specify a /28 subnet that doesn’t overlap with any of your existing subnets. These include on-premises subnets, Azure subnets, or any planned CloudSimple subnets. You can't change the CIDR after the service is created.

# Register the Microsoft.VMwareCloudSimple resource provider on your Azure subscription

The CloudSimple service allows you to consume Azure VMware Solution by CloudSimple. To use the CloudSimple service, it must first be enabled on your Azure subscription. You can then register the Microsoft.VMwareCloudSimple service as your resource provider.

## Enable the CloudSimple service

To enable the CloudSimple service on your Azure subscription, open a support request with [Microsoft support](https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Support/HelpAndSupportBlade/newsupportrequest). Select the following options when you submit the request.

* Issue type: **Technical**

* Subscription: **Your subscription ID**

* Service type: **VMware Solution by CloudSimple**

* Problem type: **Dedicated Nodes quota**

* Problem subtype: **Increase quota of dedicated nodes**
