A common scenario of this issue happens when the Remote Desktop app is being run on an Intune enrolled iPhone and the same iPhone is being used to receive MFA requests from the Microsoft Authenticator app when signing into the Remote Desktop app. To work around this issue, use the Remote Desktop app on a different device from the device being used to receive MFA requests, such as an iPad. This issue doesn't occur with Windows App.
