Description
The article includes a lot of general information which can also be found elsewhere, but all the really important information is missing:
- Which distribution mode is used and assumed or suggested?
- Which distribution modes can even be used with packaged apps?
- How to publish with the evergreen bootstrapper?
(if possible, as it seems to require elevation) - How to include the fixed version runtime in a C#/C++ project
- especially, how to deal with the different platform-specific runtimes
- How to package the app in a way that the appropriate runtimes are included (only) in the corresponding platform packages?
- How about WinUI3 packaged apps - does it apply to those as well?
Thanks,
sw
