Document all versioned changes #946
Description
When updating content, it would be a huge relief if there was a published list of all versioned changes. A few of them are documented here in some pages or another, but a comprehensive list of "everything that changed between format version 1.X and 1.X+1" would be a lifesaver for fearlessly updating content to the newest version in accordance with these guidelines: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/minecraft/creator/documents/practices/latestplatformversion?view=minecraft-bedrock-stable
As the above article lists, there are five different types of versions across bedrock:
- Base game version
- Min engine version
- Command version
- Per-file-type format versions
- Script module version
In order to update content safely, we need to be able to anticipate what will break and how to migrate. Documenting the differences between all of these versions would be extremely helpful :)
