Unable to Complete Microsoft Store ID Verification – App Crashes and Loops

Hello,
I’m trying to complete the Microsoft Store Developer Account ID Verification process, but the verification system is not working correctly on my device.

Issue Description

Every time I attempt to verify my ID, the system:

Gets stuck in a loading loop,

Fails to scan, or

Crashes before completing the verification.

Because of multiple failed attempts, I’m also worried that my account might get temporarily blocked.

What I’ve Tried

Restarting the device

Clearing cache and data

Trying again on a stable internet connection

Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data

Attempting multiple times (all failed)

Device Information

Device: Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Browser: Chrome (latest version)

Microsoft Developer Account: (You can optionally add your email here)

Expected Behavior

The ID verification should scan my ID and complete the onboarding process without looping or crashing.

Actual Behavior

The tool keeps failing the verification process and never completes.

Additional Notes

I need help understanding:

If there is an issue on Microsoft’s side

Whether my account could be blocked for too many attempts

If there is an alternative method to verify my ID

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
