ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED while using device toggle emulation in Dev tools

Hi Team,

Edge version: Version 139.0.3405.73 (Official build) beta (64-bit)

Steps to repro:

Open Dev Tools for a website.
Click "Toggle device emulation".
Reload the page.
The page would turn to an error saying ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED.

Troubleshooting steps done:

1. Reset MS Edge Settings.
2. Reset Dev tools

(I am myself a support Engineer for Microsoft Edge at QA, despite that, I am unable to track down the cause)

Hi @Sumitdhiman, thank you for reporting this and sharing the GIF! I could not reproduce the issue following your steps.

A few questions:

1. Does this repro in other versions of Edge (ex. Canary, Dev)?
2. Does it only happen when DevTools is undocked? What happens if it's docked?
3. Does this happen every time you're using device emulation mode? If you can repro it every time, can you share steps to help me get a clean repro?
4. Does it only show an error for certain devices from the list?

1. I cannot see this issue in Edge Canary.
2. It happens with undocked too.
3. Yes. The easiest step to reproduce it is to turn on the device toggle > select a device, and reload.
4. No.

By the way, I reinstalled Edge using an MSI today and so far the error is gone. I will let you know if the problem appears again.
