Breaking Change ACL I can't see any issues

Regarding the breaking change announcement on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/release-notes?tabs=dotnetcsharp about the new 120 version, I don't experience any issues using that version within my unpackaged app without applying the ACL workaround. I'm wondering at what step a crash can occur and what are the symptoms ?

Also, the solution describe at point 6 on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/concepts/distribution?branch=main&branchFallbackFrom=pr-en-us-2961#details-about-the-fixed-version-runtime-distribution-mode is not clear. Should the acl commands be applied on every computer where the app is deployed ?

From what I read, it seems that the problem only exists for unpackaged applications running in an app container, which is not clear in the documentation.
