Hey everyone!
I’ve been thinking a lot about how AI tools are being used to help with coding—especially when working with WebView2 or similar tech—and I’m curious what others are doing.
I’m not a developer myself, and this isn’t a formal study or anything. Just trying to understand what’s working, what’s annoying, and what might be missing.
A few things I’m wondering:
What AI tools do you actually use?
(GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codeium, Cody, Amazon Q… or something else?)
Are you using them with C#, WinForms, WPF, Win32, MAUI, or WebView2?
What’s been smooth, and what hasn’t?
Do these tools “get” WebView2?
Do they generate useful code for WebView2 scenarios, or do they fumble?
What’s the most frustrating part of using AI tools with WebView2?
Setup friction?
Interop quirks?
Missing samples or incomplete docs?
What would make it easier for you (or your AI assistant) to work with WebView2?
I’m hoping this kicks off a bit of a conversation. No pressure, no formal feedback process — just curious to hear what folks are actually seeing and doing.
