[Feature request] Add Manual Sync Markers and Comment Ignore Option for Diffs

I frequently run into the problem that my diffs become out of sync. It would be helpful to have the ability to add manual markers to keep both sides synchronized. In many cases, comments are the root cause of the issue.

An additional option to ignore comments starting with a user-defined character (e.g. # or $) would also be very useful.
