Summer 2014 Mobile Game Development class

This is a 6 week full time mobile game development class from June 2 to July 11. The first week will help you get up to speed with developing using Java on the Android platform. The next 2 weeks will be spent getting familiarized with libgdx, a popular game framework that we will be using. There will be several guest speakers from the game industry who will talk about game production, success and failure stories, and also technical talks on various game components. You'll get to work with and learn from mentors who are professional software engineers, and get feedback from teams at game development studios. By the end of the course you'll have a playable mobile game, ready for release in the app store.
