Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We want ArchiveDesk to be a welcoming and respectful project.

Contributors, users, and maintainers are expected to make participation in this project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that helps create a positive environment include:

  • Being respectful and constructive
  • Giving useful feedback
  • Being patient with new contributors
  • Focusing on the problem, not the person
  • Respecting different viewpoints and experiences

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment or personal attacks
  • Insults, trolling, or inflammatory comments
  • Publishing someone else's private information without permission
  • Repeated disruptive or hostile behavior
  • Any conduct that would be inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards.

Maintainers may remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, issues, pull requests, and other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces, including issues, pull requests, discussions, and other public interactions related to ArchiveDesk.

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please contact the maintainer privately.

For now, please report concerns by opening a private communication channel with the maintainer instead of starting a public argument in issues or pull requests.

Enforcement

Maintainers may take any action they believe is appropriate in response to unacceptable behavior, including warnings, content removal, or banning a contributor from project spaces.

Notes

This project is still in an early stage, and moderation processes may be improved over time.
