Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) provides a faster way of solving the problem and reduces the time complexity to $O(n log(n))$. The choice of specifics in each one is based on a combination of accuracy, speed and ease of implementation. In this subsection, we give an overview of the grid-based approach.
