Using Docker to deploy Nexent is indeed convenient, but the update cycle of Nexent is extremely fast. If you deploy it with Docker, you’ll need to rebuild the image every time an update is released, which can be quite troublesome.
This blog provides the infrastructure for deploying Nexent with Docker in a WSL2 environment, while running the remaining services locally. When Nexent is updated, you can simply pull the latest code with Git to complete the update.
