Reader/Writer compatibility

As far as i can tell PN532 could work but probably wont work out of the box as for the proxmark they should work. The code is designed in a way that it can work with more than the currently officially supported readers (tested by us/ the community) by allowing you to specify a reader when starting the program.

python -m anycubic_nfc_app --print_readers in case you are doing it via the shell. There might appear multiple reader even so a single one is connected (for acr1252 for example there will be one ending with PICC and one with SAM and the one with PICC is the one that is the one you want to use python -m anycubic_nfc_app --print_readers --preferred_reader "picc")

I can confirm, that the PN532 will probably not work, but feel free to try your luck and present your results. If you get something to work, I will add it to the software :)

Hello all, i tested without success for PN532 and proxmark. With a compiled exe webapp not start, i image for missing ACR device.
I tried also with run the Python Script via shell and with the script suggested by @LixNix i received the message below:

There is something that i can do to use at least PN532 ( which create a COM USB-SERIAL CH340).
I have also tested a simply script in python to test the reading via uart of my PN532, using adafruit-circuitpython-pn532 pyserial and i reach to read simply a UID of mifare for example.

I hope you can add other compatible device

I have worked with the PN532 and adafruit-circuitpython before and unfortunately the interfaces for the PN532 and other Smartcard readers are very different (thats why there is the error you pasted) so it would be very hard to make compatible with the PN532. Furthermore, the setup on how the PN5532 is soldered to a UART converter or similar can also be different for every user. As I do not have enough time for that bit of more usability (most people will use ready-made NFC readers instead of soldering their own stuff), I will probably not add PN532 support, I am sorry.

Hallo, I've successfully installed and ran the program on my Macbook Air. Now I tried to install it on my iMac 27 inch, 2017 running macOS Venrtura 13.7.6. When I start the program in my terminal I get the following response:

I've uninstall python3 and reinstalled it but no change. Can you help?

You need to install the module it seems to not be installed by default.

Use pip3 install eventlet

Thanks for your help. On my Macbook Air I didn't have to install anything else but the files provided on Github. I don't even know where to find the module "eventlet".

It might be due to the version installed with the os.
