How can I troubleshoot reboots? Is the problem just beta/dev builds?

EDIT: The problem seems to have been WLED being overwhelmed by mDNS traffic. Disabling mDNS by deleting the mDNS name in Wi-Fi Setup seems to have eliminated the random reboots.

I've been assembling some small WLED test projects with various matrixes and strips, but I am having frequent crashes. I'm using beta and dev versions of MoonModules builds because I want audio reactivity and the fun new effects.

Because I am unsure if crashes are just expected, or if I have some hardware faults. In all cases the boards are typical wroom ESP32, and in all cases the power supplies should be more than enough to prevent brownouts.

Here's an example of a project that seems to be working fine...

But this project is not fine. It ran OK for MONTHS and then it began rebooting about every 5 minutes. Because it worked for a long time and then pooped out, this sure seems like a hardware problem, but I have yet to dig in.

And, I have a testbed with a 60A power supply running a measly 200 LEDs. With the listed nightly build, this will crash every few minutes. I substituted a brand new board, same build, same problems.

Is there a specific stable build I should use which has audio reactivity and tons of effects?

I see the options to compile a custom build, which is awesome, but there are so many options I have no idea what to pick for lots of effects, with audio, with stability.
