Jump mode misses its targets

First of all thanks for tmux-fingers. I can't live without it. 👍

I've only recently started to use jump mode and noticed some strange behaviours with it. It quite often misses the target. At first I thought this is due to a split pane, but I can replicate it even in a single pane layout.

Notice the difference between:
<prefix>, F -> Shift+k - which works perfectly
<prefix>, J -> k - which misses the mark

Thank you! I've noticed that jump sometimes misses the target indeed, but haven't been able to reproduce consistently. Can you provide a gist with the pane output?

Now, I've noticed something interesting while checking if copy paste doesn't invalidate the replication. Jump works well on a fresh pane, but bugs out after clear command is used.

For new pane:

1. Open a new pane
2. cat output.txt
3. See that jump works correctly

For clear:

1. clear in any pane
2. cat output.txt
3. See that jump offsets

The only visible difference is that clear produces a single new line before the shell prompt starts.

I'm in the process of moving from tmux-thumbs to this, and while I haven't dived into this implementation yet, I did spend some time to investigate a similar issue over there. The issue is potentially related to ligatures - the > prompt there is a ligature, and it would be a pretty good data point if you tried it again with a plain ASCII prompt and no ligatures on-screen and see if the issue disappears.

I implemented a fix for it here (probably not ready for primetime, more a proof-of-concept): fcsonline/tmux-thumbs#162. See fcsonline/tmux-thumbs#158.

Can you reproduce this consistently? I've tried it but it works on my machine ™️ . Other things that could affect this would be the prompt, and tmux.conf.

I've tried with both ligatures and emojis in the prompt and it does seem to work.

Jump targets are missed in some scenarios, but haven't figured it out yet. I think sometimes it has to do with line wrapping and scroll in copy mode.
