This is a normal message and log. Review your system log and daemon option.

Here are some additional details.....

Indicates running as a service....

Feb 10 18:58:33 raspi motion[2350]: [0:motion] [NTC] [ALL] become_daemon: Motion going to daemon mode

Indicates daemon on was specified in the configuration file....

Documentation says to not specify daemon on when running as a service.

It would seem you have one or more invalid configuration options.
You might want to (temporarily) increase you logging detail:

motion.conf:# Level of log messages [1..9] (EMG, ALR, CRT, ERR, WRN, NTC, INF, DBG, ALL).
motion.conf:log_level 9
motion.conf:# Filter to log messages by type (COR, STR, ENC, NET, DBL, EVT, TRK, VID, ALL).
