Question regarding PRs for this repo

Great little repo here, nicely done.
I am looking at adding some features for interacting with the XML metadata of qvd files.
I'd be happy to send PRs to your repo if you're willing to accept them.

Plan B is to fork the repo and develop there, but having a single repo is of course preferred - but only if you are accepting PRs into it, make sure npm is updated etc.

Hey, thank you for your interest in the project. Unfortunately, the project is currently on hold; I hardly have time for it. The goal is actually to align this library's API with the much more modern Python version (https://github.com/MuellerConstantin/PyQvd). Further development is also planned, and PRs are therefore welcome. What kind of changes do you want to contribute via PR?

Totally understand - I too have tons of projects that are in rather dormant states (more so than I'd like).

I specifically need a Node.js solution for modifying QVDs. Your Python lib looks awesome but it's unfortunately a no-go for me in this case.

My needs right now are to search QVDs for specific values, for various data inventory and lineage scenarios.
I.e. not so much analytics use cases as batch data management.

I think I might end up just creating a QVD class in my coming project, seem like the easiest solution right now. We'll see.

Turns out there are several projects where QVD handling will be needed, so I really need a proper, maintained npm lib.

I'll add the missing pieces that I need, fix a couple of bugs I noticed, fix some typos etc - then send a PR that you can take a look at. If it's in the direction that you'd like the lib to develop then merging the PR is easy - if our needs differ it's of course totally ok to close the PR unmerged. I'll then create my own npm lib, that meet my specific needs.

So - a PR might be coming in a few days/a week or so
