Not working correctly with 1.20.4

Multichat does not work correctly with 1.20.4 yet. This needs fixing asap.
No messages go into the chat at all when you type. If you send a message it does not show up.
multichat jar is in paper server + bungee, so that's not a problem. global chat is on. 
this has to be a bug.
