Unconfirmed Transaction arising from sending bitcoins from Multibit Wallet #1026

Hi there !
I am new to this so my jargon and stuff may be confusing, so bear with me.
I received a small amount of bitcoins from a withdrawal i made yesterday into my Multibit wallet. Didn't know they cancelled support for Multibit. The receiving part went well, and I thought everything was OK, and proceeded to send the bitcoin to another exchange.
Then the problem arised, the transaction was listed as pending for many hours so I closed my wallet. When i re-opened my wallet, I had issues with the password even though i entered the right password. From looking at other issues reported this is a similar one, so i started restoring my wallet. Eventually one of the restores worked, and i syncrhonised my wallet - This took almost a few hours. After all that, the status showed broadcast over network and seen by 4 peers, however it is still unconfirmed.
Can anybody help me retrieve my bitcoins please? (Transaction ID: 386633e659e277699322de6650f068ff84813abb13b34ae2dfbb7cb23924a149)
