## About the MMR vaccine
21+
22+
The MMR vaccine protects against measles, mumps and rubella. Having 2 doses gives lasting protection against all 3 illnesses. If you’re not sure how many doses your child has had, having further doses will not cause any harm.
23+
24+
Research has shown there is no link between the MMR vaccine and autism.

For MMR, you should go as far back as the oldest member of the cohort minus one year. For example, if you’re vaccinating Year 6 children (where the oldest child is 11), you’d upload records for the last 10 years. For Year 11 children (where the oldest child is 16), this would mean uploading records for the last 15 years.
