Release Focus:

Currently in Testing

• Fixed multiple bugs in:
  • /sdcard/debdroid/debdroid.sh
  • /sdcard/debdroid/debdroid_mgr.sh
• Hardened mount permissions for /tmp and /dev/shm.
• Hardened environment with safe variable pass-through via /debroid/environment.
• DNS fallback added for /etc/resolv.conf.
• Added a failsafe for image overwrite during installation and resize prompts
• debinit bootstrap script fixes common environment issues and quirks, while also replacing previous apt & ssh patches.

Planned features

• Integrating libhybris to improve compatibility with Android hardware and enable native hardware acceleration.
• A patched Bionic losetup binary that properly manages loop devices under Android.
• Updated Bionic binaries required by DebDroid for improved compatibility, stability and security.
• A built-in DebDroid updater to automatically install the latest release.
• Implement command/sshserver for headless SSH management.

Just fixed a critical issue in lib/librandom.so. X11 graphical environments among several other programs should now be able to run properly within DebDroid!
