Hello everyone! 👋 I’m Lalit, CS grad student , and I’m very interested in contributing to the Health-AI Ethics Atlas project with a strong passion for data visualization and interactive UI design. I specialize in JavaScript, React, D3.js, and Leaflet, and I love working on projects that make complex data more accessible through intuitive user interfaces. I am particularly interested in contributing to the Health-AI Ethics Atlas project, as I find the idea of mapping global AI ethics initiatives in healthcare both fascinating and impactful. I have experience working with dynamic dashboards, GIS-based visualizations, and handling structured datasets, and I’m eager to explore how these skills can be applied to this project. I have gone through the project ideas list and would love to learn more about the data sources, expected structure for the visualizations, and any existing frameworks used in the project. If there are any starter issues or resources, I would greatly appreciate any pointers! Looking forward to collaborating with the community and contributing to meaningful open-source work! 🚀 Best regards, |

Hi everyone,
I’m Oliver Teng, a CS grad student at Georgia Tech, and I’m very interested in contributing to the Health-AI Ethics Atlas project. The idea of developing an interactive global map that visualizes AI ethics in healthcare aligns closely with my experience in data visualization (D3.js) and web development.
I previously built a project called Property Price Visualizer (GitHub Repo), which shares many similarities with this initiative:
Here’s a demo video:

You can find more details in the repo, and I’m currently improving the project to enhance usability further.
I’d love to apply my skills in web development, GIS mapping, and data visualization to this project. Looking forward to collaborating with the team and learning more about AI ethics in healthcare!
Best,
Oliver
